HALDIRAM NAMING-SHAMING

This one came in today.

 *Haldiram products banned by USFDA*

Shocking!

Bad news for Haldiram snacks eating friends.... U.S. FDA has banned all the Haldiram snacks due to the presence  of high levels of pesticides, mold and the bacteria salmonella.
According to U.S. FDA these products are unsafe to consume.
So friends please spread the words and stop using these products and say goodbye to unhealthy lifestyle and say Hello to Healthy life...

Haldiram buys marble dust from Makrana. Earlier the mine owners used to pay money to dispose the dust. Today they sell to Haldiram @,approx Rs. 19 per kg. This is used primarily in bhujia to make it crispy.....still can't trust our own people πŸ˜‘πŸ‘ŽπŸΎπŸ₯Š

Forwarded as received.

Let me admit that I don't have a vested interested in disproving this or proving this. If you like Haldiram and choose to eat or don't eat it, it's up to you to take that decision. But you need to know a few things about the nature of this message.

The first is that both the article links, are from credible media sources and not random pages. So chances are, that it is true.

HOWEVER, the articles are from 2015. Go on, check the links.

Also, that last bit about marble dust is tagged on to a message with a credible (but old) link. I personally have no way of verifying this but found this article with a quote from FSSAI about it. I won't insult your intelligence by asking if you have trust issues with FSSAI.

Sure, the real issue is about whether Haldiram's products are safe or not. But the issue is also about who stands to gain the most by this message doing the rounds on Whatsapp after all this while.

And mentioning 'Forwarded as received' basically absolves the people who shared this message of any responsibility if this is proven wrong. Really...still can't trust our own people .
